Big Garden Birdwatch

This weekend we will be doing the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch but it will be too late to put our results in, so I will post them next time, with some of my bird pictures

Pine Martens

Pine Martens are one of the rarest mammals in britain. We are really lucky to have 6 different Pine Martens that visit our garden. We put out dried fruit and different varieties of nuts for them.

At the bottom of my blog I have put some of the photos that we have taken of these beautiful animals. I hope that you like them.

The Nutcracker

This week I went with our home ed group to see the ballet The Nutcracker. I went with my mum and my big sister. First we had a talk about it. This was good as it helped me to understand what was happening but it was a bit long for me.

We had a break for lunch then the ballet. It lasted about 2 hours with a 25 min interval to change the scenery. My favourite bit was the waltz of the flowers. Their costumes were very very pretty especially the poppies. The orchestra was really good too.
